Setup of Company

Firstly open the peachtree accounting software.

Now click the option of set up a new company.

Now welcome to Peachtree Accounting New Company Step up.

Peachtree provide different information about company.

·               Your company’s name and address

·               Your chart of accounts

·               Your accounting period

·               Your accounting method

After this we click on next button.

In this step we follow the Company Information and fill the blocks

Now we click on next button.

Now there are Charts of Accounts.

In this step Peach tree provides several steps for setting up company.

Now select one step up option.

The next step is Charts of Account,in which we select that chart of accounts that describes our business type like..

·            Retail Company

·            Service Company

·            Construction Company

·            Contribution Company

·             Distribution Company

 

Now select one of the companies and click on view charts of accounts.

Now there is Retail Simplified Chart of Accounts.

Next step is Accounting Method.

Peach tree provides two methods i.e.

·            Accrual

·            Cash

And now click on of the methods.

Now select one of the Accounting methods and click next button.

The next step is Posting Method.

There are two methods.

·            Real Time

·            Batch

Now select one of the posting methods.

Now we come to the Accounting Period.

In this we select one option..

Ø        12 monthly accounting periods

Ø        Accounting periods that do not match the calendar months.

Now we click next button and come to Monthly Accounting Periods.

In this we have to choose Monthly Accounting Periods.

Peach tree accounting will automatically setup information.

After this we will click on next button.

After providing all required information’s for setup of company.

Congratulations New Company Setup is completed.
